Human bodies.
Consciousness made flesh,
able to see, touch, taste and tremble.
Bodies that can ignite with unbearable desire
yet also collapse of pain.

There is no human condition without both sides of the coin,
just as there is no life without death.
There is no me without the other.
That stranger to hold onto.
To see our eyes reflected in,
to kiss and hug

and at times, to strike like a punching bag.
That tension in fragile balance is the human condition.
That is the richness and the beauty of existence.

We chose to create this exhibition together out of a mutual sympathy rooted in shared views in our individual artistic practice. Despite our differences, we discover echoes between our works—moments where they resonate and even deepen each other’s vision. Here, we present a selection of thematically connected pieces from both of us, alongside one joint painting created in collaboration.
