Anita Snellman Foundation Awards Grants to Four Graduating Painters from the Free Art School

This year, €2,000 grants were awarded to Pinja Kanon, Marika Maijala, Eevi Oittinen, and Maria Rasinkangas, all of whom graduated from the Free Art School. The Vapaa ’25 graduation exhibition is open until May 18 at Puristamo, Cable Factory.

Founded in 1979, the foundation’s mission is to preserve and showcase the work of artist Anita Snellman, and to promote interest in artistic creation by supporting art education and opportunities for participation. Each year, the Anita Snellman Foundation awards grants, primarily to newly graduated artists.
